Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients
2 lb chicken breast
1 lb preferred pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1/4-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4-1/2 cup chicken broth
1-2 tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
8-12 oz bacon, diced
1 packet ranch seasoning
2-3 tsp garlic powder
2-3 tsp onion powder
2-3 tsp dried oregano
2-3 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
Mozzarella cheese to garnish
Parsley to garnish
Before you cook
Dice the bacon
Season chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, smoked paprika, and half the ranch seasoning packet
Steps
Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside
Add diced bacon to a pan and cook until crispy, then remove and set aside, reserving the bacon grease
Add seasoned chicken to the pan with bacon grease and sear until golden on one side
Flip chicken and cook through on the other side, then remove and let rest
Add garlic paste to the same pan and stir briefly
Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan
Season the broth with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper
Stir in the remaining ranch seasoning packet
Add heavy cream and allow the sauce to simmer until slightly thickened
Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth
Slice or chop the rested chicken and add it to the sauce
Add the cooked bacon to the pan
Add the drained pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce
Top with mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt
Garnish with parsley and serve
