
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Crispy bacon and chicken breast are tossed through pasta in a rich cream sauce seasoned with ranch, garlic, and Parmesan.

Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken breast
- 1 lb preferred pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/4-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4-1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1-2 tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- 8-12 oz bacon, diced
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 2-3 tsp garlic powder
- 2-3 tsp onion powder
- 2-3 tsp dried oregano
- 2-3 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- Mozzarella cheese to garnish
- Parsley to garnish
Before you cook
- Dice the bacon
- Season chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, smoked paprika, and half the ranch seasoning packet
Steps
- Cook pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside
- Add diced bacon to a pan and cook until crispy, then remove and set aside, reserving the bacon grease
- Add seasoned chicken to the pan with bacon grease and sear until golden on one side
- Flip chicken and cook through on the other side, then remove and let rest
- Add garlic paste to the same pan and stir briefly
- Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan
- Season the broth with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper
- Stir in the remaining ranch seasoning packet
- Add heavy cream and allow the sauce to simmer until slightly thickened
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth
- Slice or chop the rested chicken and add it to the sauce
- Add the cooked bacon to the pan
- Add the drained pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce
- Top with mozzarella cheese and allow it to melt
- Garnish with parsley and serve
