  1. Divide the dough into 4 pieces.
  2. Roll each piece out on a floured surface into a thin circle.
  3. Cut each circle in half and slice a small vent in the middle of each half.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet to a depth of 2 inches and heat to 350°F.
  5. Fry the dough pieces two at a time for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Drain the fry jacks on paper towels.
  7. Tear each fry jack open and fill with beans, eggs and cheese, or serve plain with honey.
