A no-cook breakfast where rolled oats soften and swell in cold milk and yogurt overnight in the fridge, ready to eat straight from the jar by morning.

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mixed berries
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- Pinch of salt
Before you cook
- Measure the oats, milk, and yogurt into a mixing bowl.
- Rinse the berries.
Steps
- Combine the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, chia seeds, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir everything together until well combined.
- Divide the mixture between two jars or airtight containers.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 6 hours.
- Stir the oats before serving, adding a splash more milk if they seem too thick.
- Top each serving with the mixed berries just before eating.
