Say hello to Sue

Sue is your AI cooking companion — patient, encouraging, and always listening. She reads steps in a natural voice, remembers how your last batch turned out, and never judges you for burning the garlic. Again.

You: Hey Chef, I'm out of buttermilk — what can I use?
Sue: Easy — stir a tablespoon of lemon juice into a cup of milk and let it sit 5 minutes. I'll wait.
Questions?

Everything you might be wondering

And if it's not here, Sue can probably answer it once you're in.

It will be — Sue Chef is in private beta right now while we finish it off. Leave your email above and you’ll get an invite as soon as it opens, free to start.
That's the whole idea. Sue reads each step aloud, and you can advance, go back, set timers, or ask questions entirely by voice. Turn on the “Hey Chef” wake word and you don't even need to press start — and you can say “Hey Chef” to interrupt her mid-sentence.
Three ways: paste the recipe text, drop a link from any recipe site (or a cooking video on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube), or forward it to the personal recipe inbox you get when you sign up. Everything is parsed into clean steps automatically.
A hands-free trigger. Switch it on and just say “Hey Chef” to start talking to Sue — no tapping. Say it while she's reading a step and she'll stop and listen, so you can jump in the moment you need to.
Yes — Sue Chef runs right in your browser, phone or laptop, nothing to install. Voice features work best in Chrome, where the built-in speech recognition is strongest.
Both. Every recipe is private by default. Make one public and it gets a clean shareable link you can send to anyone — even friends without an account — and it joins the community feed where people can favorite, rate, and cook it too.

Know the moment it opens.

Sue Chef is in private beta while we test it with a small group. Leave your email and we’ll let you know the moment it opens to everyone — no spam, just the one email.
